Our Story

Our journey began over 10 years ago, with an idea for a family run business in our small but beautiful home village of Stratton Audley and so “The Barn” was born! Developed and run by Richard and Sara with their sons George & Jimmy, they began selling Christmas trees here on the original dairy farm.

Over the years the business has grown to include a festive wonderland of Christmas decorations, a beautiful seasonal shop, stocking unique and unusual decorations and gifts. Interiors is Sara’s passion and it shows through from the careful detail of the shop design to her selective sourcing of products, creating a quite enchanting shop, now open all year round.

In 2015, with increasing demand, we expanded to add a small café, offering a selection of cakes, slices and delicious Ice cream all homemade on site in our small kitchen. The following year we expanded the Café to offer a menu of hot food and opened all year round to the delight of our customers!

Our team has grown too, together we aim to combine a balance of business, family and fun in our service to charm our lovely customers! We even hit the top ten national video charts with the boys hilarious, cheeky but quite charming tree wrapping video, and with over 10m hits on you tube, now famous!
